Park Play
To begin, Dusty, Alex, and I went to Lone Peak Elementary to fly our sea horse kite and play on the play ground. Alex really liked running around trying to get the kite to fly but when he finally got it flying he would let go of the string as he threw his arms in the air and exclaimed "i did it!"
Swimming
We are all convinced that Alex was a fish in some other life. In his opinion swimming is better than food, sleep, and and most everything else. In this swimming trip he learned how to float on his back and kick with his legs thanks to his granna
Hiking
Anya, Alex, and I set out for a backyard adventure. Yes this trsil is conveniently located in Anya's back yard. The kids were troopers hiking for an hour and a half singing alobg the way. The songs went some thing like this, "we're hiking up the hill, we're hiking up the hill, hi ho the dairy oh we're hiking up the hill. I see a purple flower I see a purple flower, hi ho the dairy oh I see a purple flower" and so on and so forth inputting whatever they saw or felt at the time. We saw a lizard, many bees, and some playful butterflys that Anya was determined to catch.
We made it to the top at last, sweet success!
Sweet Friendship
May ended at Baskin Robins having icecream with friends. Haley and Bob came all the way from Cyprus to have icecream with us, ok well maybe not only to have icecream but it was good to see them none the less. We spent the evening with them as well as Lyndee and Drew and another one of Haley's neighbor friends (sorry I'm really bad with names) catching up, telling stories, and of course eating deliciouse icecream! The older we get the crazier life seems to be and the less we get to see eachother so I'm glad we were able to steal a moment to all be together!
