Discovering Dinosaurs

Dusty, Alex, and I went to the dinosaur museum with my cousin Kristin and her family. Alex had a great time looking at and touching all the "roars" as he calls them. He especially loved this "baby roar" he hugged and loved it for some time. I'm convinced now that if dinos were real he would try to hug and play with them as if they were puppies and probably get eaten. Good thing they are extinct!

"Aaaahhhhh a roar mom mom"

Digging in the sand and water bar was his favorite part of the museum.

Welcome to the Mattei Family blog!!

We are pleased to announce that the Mattei Family blog is officially up and running! It has taken us a long time to get with the times and have an up to date website but due to some recent downtime Lisa had we have successfully started our blog and will hopefully(cross your fingers) keep posting all of the exciting events in our lives. We hope you enjoy the pictures and updates. And we would love for anyone who follows our blog to keep in touch with us for that is our purpose in making this site. :)

ALEXANDER MICHAEL MATTEI....

Is the star of the family. He is 2 years old and is going through what we refer to as the "goat phase" meaning he has a fetish for eating anything except food, especially books. He is a ball of thunder that runs around the house destroying everything in reach. But between his huge brown puppy eyes and his authentic baby charm he rarely gets into trouble. There is nothing this child would prefer more than to paint, play cars or "voom vooms" as he calls it, or be outside running amuck. Winter has been a cruel form of torture for him this year. We are all eagerly awaiting spring! We can't imagine how we got to be so lucky as to be his parents so we just remain grateful and try to do our best to raise him right.
